Young WallStreet, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit that exists to reduce the wealth gap, promote socioeconomic mobility and increase black wealth. We fulfill this mission by exposing black and brown high school students to the fundamentals of investing and proven investment strategies to give them the tools and skills necessary to build a generational wealth mindset. Our premier program is a two-week summer intensive boot camp focusing on financial literacy, investing, and trading. During the camp, the participants are fully immersed into the World of Wall Street while also maintaining a balance of leadership and social activities! These activities include: Learning the importance of financial literacy: budgeting, savings, credit, etc. Understanding and using the language of Wall Street Pros. Analyzing Stocks of companies you may use every day, like Nike, Apple, Facebook, etc. Competing for Cash Prizes in a Simulated Trading Competition! And so much more….
